I've definitely seen lag in some of my lc logging tools. Especially when
sending messages very frequently, one after another.

In my experience the LC buffers huge date a long time.
So outgoing data has some kind of a lag up to seconds.
The XMLSocket seams to have no such buffer. With a XMLSocket
you can log out 10000Chars in no measurable time.
You can try this with the Sample Plugin coming with SOS.
