Drove me crazy for about 15 minutes as well. What you need to do is make sure you have the standard Eclipse Console view open in the ActionScript perspective—this replaces the MTASC view. Also, in the ActionScript2 preferences, make sure you have the “Check Syntax on Save” and “Check syntax when an AS file is opened” check boxes selected. Every time you save a file you will now see error messages in the Console view and the line where the error occurs will have an error icon next to in the actual as editor pane.

Subject: [osflash] asdt 0.0.8 + flashout 0.2.1.6 + Eclipse

Hi all !

I've successfully installed the asdt auto update and the corrected flashout update for asdt 0.0.8 version.

I've noticed the new "Actionscript 2" perspective and the new Actionscript 2 panel in the prefs.

I have now an "AS Logger" (which can record a debug session (i presume)), but can't get it work and i no longer have the "MTASC" View panel,

that give me an error log on saving or even on typing with previous versions..

Have i missed something ?

thanks a lot :)
