BUT, it's expensive. My company will probably pay for it for me, but when I go home and want to write a Flash program, I'm not willing to shell out $250 of my own money for it. What will I do? Hope ASDT works better soon. Maybe I should start working on ASDT myself...

i know this is still early days in the whole osflash movement,
but i would like to see more energy going into ASDT and other open
source development features, and the creation of a true open source

on that point, can anybody here let me know what is going on with ASDT?
Is someone taking some responsibility for the project as a whole? Ive
sent various emails / forum posts about joining the project. I have the
sources checked out and have started working on a couple of things, but
without co-ordination I have a feeling that i'll only end up doing
something that someone else is already doing.
