Hi all, A quick update. Nicolas Coevoet has kindly volunteered his time and efforts to create a new design for OSFlash. We are currently still working on tweaking it (colors, finalizing layout, etc.) but I can tell you this much: It's going to blow you away :) (The open source world would be so much less interesting without the Nicolas' of this world, don't you think?) ;)
In light of this, let's change the contest (I don't think a full redesign contest was going down too well in any case, too complex.) Instead, we're going to hold one for the mascot (Flash Tux -- which, I know will lovingly be called "Fux" but what can you do -- a cross between the Linux penguin and "The Flash") :) I'm going to ask Macromedia to see if they'll donate a copy of Studio 8 to the winner.
