what are the dependencies on the net beans platform itself?

im trying to get a feel for the scope of integration between the app and
the netbeans platform as this would be a useful tool to have integrated
into eclipse, and of course with ASDT / MTASC / OFD. Integrating these
projects together would take us a long way towards having a complete
flash IDE in eclipse.

also what features are you using that requires the java 5 as opposed to
1.4.2 ?

thanks,

Martin
