i think you are making quite some friends, well at least i agree 100%. if i want to sell an open source software targeted for AVM2, that's not a black box, ie that has an API, interoperability is mandatory. i'm pretty sure that even the slight incompatibilities between MMC and MTASC today scare away many potential MTASC users. if MMC and the next MT compiler speak different (though similar) languages, iteroperability is gone, meaning i can't sell my software to commercial customers that are using MMC, except if i maintain two separate codebases (not an option) and bokel, deploying SWF only would be a quite desperate hack and thus is not an option either. cheers, claus. _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
