I was able to install Microdem and it seems to work ok, but I cant find the digital chart of the world data. Can you point me to it? I'd love to noodle around with this a little. What I really want to do is experiment with octrees, but this stuff is fascinating too. If there is just some data that you want to see if it will translate to shp I could try that as well.
