I know I am late to the party with this one, but would it be possible to use AS3 and still compile to multiple targets - SWF, Javascript, etc?
While I would put money that the language that Nicolas concocts has an elegance that will surpase AS3, I wonder how many of us foot soldiers will really reap the benefits. The only serious bummer I have with AS3 is lack of operator overloading, but besides that it seems adequate for the tasks at hand.
