One of the things I miss when using less well designed language APIs is
a succinct way of expressing the common operations over a collection
(find, map, and friends).
A lightweight syntax for anonymous functions might help too.
For example, in Ruby:
ctx.header("To", recipients.map{|addr| addr.encoded}.join(','))
