With my limited knowledge of german, I could read the following sentence : "Die einzige Sache die mich von AS3 noch abhält ist eine fähige IDE." Which I translate as : "The only thing keeping me from AS3, is a good IDE".
Honestly, Zorn in it's alpha is already a good way a plugin that does AS editing for eclipse. Of course this isn't it' main direction it's currently more aimed at doing Flex Development. FDT is still a lot better in comparison to Flex Builder 2. Keep in mind, base functionality is still the same, they are both Eclipse based. Macromedia have something to have a good look at while developing an AS editor for the next release of Flash Authoring, but I genuinely think that for a first attempt and a side project (next to the flex part of the plugin) Zorn is a good enough IDE to work in for now. FDT is still the pretty one, but yeah, it doesn't (and doesn't have to) support 8.5 yet. I'll be happy to do AS2 in FDT, and have seamless switch to AS3 in Zorn (which is still ALPHA).
