Hi list, I was just now busy making an application with VC
and I have nearly done everything! passing Variables to VC, getting varibles from Flash. Using VC to save variables to some files... Things LOOKS pretty well.
But the bad news come to me that my OCX-registration was modified, modified to the path where I put the flash8.ocx for my application .for my app is made with8 , i put an ocx to it, But i want ONLY my app use this ocx , other than my app will make a bad affect to the users.
If they removed my app, then their IE just cannot watch SWF.....
The code in C++ is copied from others for I am really poor in VC++
I wang to know two things:
1-
Where does my systems saves the ocx referer ? I searched with regedit found it in a very strang key like "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0B6DC6EE-C4FD-11d1-819A-00C04FB69B4D}" (NOT this one but like this one), and I found more than once! Why not MM just use some easier path to save the referer for IE?

How could I improve my VC++ code to avoid this ? Can I just make my app using the ocx alone , NOT Modifying the system's defualt refere ?
