Yeah, ActionStep has some stuff like that, and I remember reading about others here that had done some similiar projects. I agree Flash and/or MTASC are both legitmate approaches, as well as haXe since all at the end of the day export SWF, and SWF is good.
I'm just a spoiled brat, and can't take write another createClassObject... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marcelo de Moraes Serpa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Open Source Flash Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 02, 2006 5:32 PM Subject: Re: [osflash] ScrollView - Interfaces missing? Thanks for the explanation Jester. Even though Flex is foressen as being the future platform for RIAs, what really counts is that its only a different way to achieve the same result as its still the Flash Platform being it on developed on Flex or Flash. From what you said, I must say that I would definetly stay with MTASC as it gives me more freedom. Everything that can be done with MXML can also be done with pure AS2, and our Open Source community could even create some kind of XML dialect to create user interfaces just like MXML does (I guess something like that already exists?).
