I know, but can you access the name of the file in a regular _expression_?

Yes, you can use the search/replace functionality in Eclipse with regular expresions.

2006/1/3, [EMAIL PROTECTED] < [EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Does anybody of you guys know if a replace like this is possible in eclipse :

I have a number of files all with names like "assessmentitem_15845.xml". In each of these files, I have to replace a number (always 14772) with 15845 (comes from name of file).

thx
