The v2 component patch work swell. I'd say on any particular project I 
won't spend much more than 30 minutes to get it up and running in MTASC. 
The compile time increase pays for itself quite fast, usually under a 
day. If you have a project that spans like a month, you're probably 
saving yourself a day of waiting time. I think it's highly worth it. It 
also brings frustration down and the short ocmpile times means you can 
test new stuff more rapidly. It's really quite a blessing from a 
workflow perspective. Highly recommended.
