The good news is that I totaly agree - I want to move to ActionStep personaly.

The bad news is, I struggle GREATLY with time to refactor the interface - but it's something I'm really dying to do.  I just have to force it in the schedule somewhere.

Once Xray goes really opensource, I think this will be the time for the
part 3 or your actionscript series, Carlos.
What do you think ?

That sound good erix ;), but as you point X-Ray should use other framework for its interface to become a true open source product that people could customize for his own purposes, and remove all mx dependencies. Maybe ActionStep or ASWing could be the solution and as well a good POC project for this application framework projects.

I think a whole AMES solution and debugging IDE will leverage the
experience of the newcomers… and the old veterans sometimes too ;)
XAMES (like shames ?!)

Continue diffusing this quality, thanks.
