Hi, A few months ago, Claus wrote on this list: "unless macromedia releases their compiler for free (unlikely)"
I replied: ""or unless macromedia releases their compiler for free (unlikely)" I won't say this is or is not likely, but I would guess that much of what we have released lately (a public alpha, a cmd line compiler, an eclipse based tool, the Flex framework with that tool, etc) would have been considered "unlikely" by many even a few weeks ago, and yet here they are. Your guess is pretty reasonable here, but we like surprising ourselves too :)" Well, I couldn't be more specific at the time, but I am pleased to let folks know now that we are indeed releasing the compiler and framework and limited version of the FES server for free: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060201/20060131006223.html?.v=1 -;) Regards, David Adobe > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [osflash] MTASC Future > Date: Sat, 22 Oct 2005 01:43:56 +0200 > From: Claus Wahlers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Open Source Flash Mailing List > <[email protected]> > To: Open Source Flash Mailing List <[email protected]> > References: > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > It's unfortunate to hear this.
