Darren, The charts are pretty cool! What would be nice is to find a way to integrate the charting logic you have on top of a 3D engine such as Sandy! Philippe pointed the page and now I can see the potentials of the engine!

I have an AS1 charting library that does 3D and interaction. You can see some demos (all over a year old now) at http://dcook.org/work/charts/ (scroll down for the 3D ones). In addition the library has financial analysis algorithms, that also work as javascript. I intended to release as open source, even getting a sourceforge page set up, but have yet to find time to do the code tidy-up, overview documentation, upload, etc. I'm trying to revive the project and at this stage my plan is to port to AS2, using MTASC and all the latest tools, and skip the AS1 release. But if there is interest I could just upload the "rough-edges" AS1 version. Also if anyone is interested in helping out let me know off-list.
