So which plugin is failing for you guys? Is it also 8.5 beta?
I note that lots of 8.5 alpha example swfs on the net have failed to play in 8.5 beta (although without crashing the browser). Is this related at all? What's the fix? just recompiling?

I've seen more problems with IE 7 betas and Flash, this is most probably
