ActionStep looks great as a framework, but I also think it 
might not be the right tool for my current project. 

In case you're interested, we're talking about a technical 
relaunch of www.jaegermeister.de and www.jagermeister.com, 
which means, the graphics won't change (at least not too much, 
I hope), but we need to rethink the framework. 

As this is a very design-oriented site (with lots of graphical 
gimmicks and not really standard-looking components), at least 
for this project we need a component set that allows us to use 
movieclips or a combination of movieclips and the drawing API 
as skins. 

That doesn't mean that ActionStep won't be useful for future 
projects.

Maybe not for this project, no. But it's still an interesting 
framework and I have to try it out and see what I can do with 
it :-)

Sounds good - even if it will be a while.

Sounds good, too. 

I'll give ActionStep a try anyway and see how far I can get. :-)
