Flasc creates a batch file for you (something you can specify the location and name for in the Project settings). You have to execute that with applescript.
I'm right in the middle of writing an extension for Mac that'll let Flasc execute applescript from the FLash IDE - when that's ready, I'll be able to run MTASC on the mac.

It appears to compile showing the batch command in the output window.
