Hi thanks for that.  Turned out not to be the ASO files - Flash just went crazy on me - refused to reflect any changes unless it was restarted.

Had to go for a reinstall :[

When you create your RUN profile the option is there. Create a new RUN profile with Flash Support.

 

On the Main tab there is Project (select your project), FLA (select your fla) Operation wich has options for Publish (compile & create swf), Test Movie (Compile, create swf in flash ide) & Delete ASO files.

Check the Delete ASO Files box and it will do it.
