1. make sure you’ve got ‘core’ directory under your AS project (otherwise: r-click prj => ‘add AS nature’)

2. right-click project => properties => classpath

3. add classpath: ‘core’ and ‘core/FP7’ or ‘core/FP8’, depending on which Flash version you’re using

Hope this helps!

Tim

Hi,

Thanks in advance for any help.

Has anyone successfully managed to get correct syntax highlighting in Eclipse using ASDT?

Also does anyone else get a rather unhelpful Java.lang.nullPointerException error in Eclipse when they try and get code completion  to work?

I am running Windows XP professional.

I want to use Eclipse - but its testing my Patience.

Finally, could someone point me in the direction of compiling a .fla from Eclipse (i can do this fine when using FDT) - but am slightly stuck when it comes to ASDT.

Best regards, Sam
