get this:
fl.browseForFileURL - Flash MX2004
fl.browseForFolderURL - Flash8
...and the hits keep rollin...
MXP coming very soon...
JG
Duh, just hit me - Sorry guys, fl.browseForFolderURL is Flash 8
I was assuming it was FLfile but that's apart of the flash object, not the FLfile object.
Sooooo, I'm gonna have to use Burrak's/Guy's DLL for the Flash 7 folks.
This sucks because now the Mac Flash 7 people will be stuck until I can get this freakin' extension written.
ugh - ok, i'll put that in a new MXP for the Windows people right now, but will leave the Flash 8 hooks in for the mac users.
SO, essentially here's the compatibility list:
Windows Flash 7 & 8
Mac Flash 8 only (until I can get this shared library working)
Thanks guys, sorry I wasn't paying attention ;(On 3/27/06, Dan Mackie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:"fl.browserForFolderURL is not a function"Dan Mackie

Can you grab this JSFL and run it to see if you can browser for files? Just save to the commands folder and run it. You'll be prompted to select a folder - be sure to select a class folder

I'm just interested in seeing if the browse dialog comes up.
Thanks again,
