Yeah Now I take the same aproach, create a custom font for sup & sub script and embed in swf.
But one thing that i found is, if I need to show a chemical symbols like H2 0, with the only symbol in SUB is "2". the others word are missing or invisible.
To avoid this you need the same standar font embed in the SWF , in me case "Verdana".
An more: if i need italic, or bold I must embed anothers two fonts for <i> and <b> tag.
So I got 3 default font and 2 for sub-sup script.
It´s work.
but it´s hard to do.
Thanks

I assume that you mean for Dynamic text, as you can do subs & sups in the IDE for Static text. One of the best ways seems to be creating your own custom superscript & subscript font that you embed in the movie and use where needed. However, I was in touch with a French guy on the FlashCoders List who had a component for displaying math equations, input as well as display, but it didn't quite do what I needed. I'm afraid I can't remember his name (or his company), so it might be worth you asking over there. And don't forget to send in a whishlist request for Sub & Sup support, if you haven't already ;)Kind Regards,Giles
