Linux needs a Flash 8 player bad, AJAX is medieval. AJAX vs Flash 8 is like Cobol vs insert your favorite modern language here. It amazes me the Linux community doesn't do whatever it takes to get Flash up to date and quit monkeying with AJAX. OTOH, Macromedia/ Adobe is shortsighted to not support Linux.
