Hi Xavi,

Great news!

As you said a few bugs will be removed.

I’m experiencing 2 at he moment. Thought I’d let you know before the next release.

1)

When I start the alf command and select an item in the lib via the alf interface I have no problem, but when I add a linkage id  (where there was no one before) I get the next error:

At line 110 of file c:…alf\library.jsfl:

setItemProperty: Argument number 1 is invalid.

Same with adding class name.

Also clearing class name and/or linkage id give these problems.

So the problem seems to occur with empty linkage/class fields of lib items that I want to change. It only occurs when selecting items via the “name” entry  and hitting the apply changes button.

Does anyone else experience the same problem?

I have many commands installed. Maybe they conflict? (I remember that this was the issue with flasc for some people?)

Also the problem only occurs when I go in through the “name” radiobutton. Searching and changing via Linkage and class seem to work fine.

2)

This is also an interesting one

*** Security Sandbox Violation ***

SecurityDomain 'file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/arnoud/Local%20Settings/Application%20Data/Macromedia/Flash%208/en/Configuration/Commands/alf/alf.swf' tried to access Player UI context

I got it while pressing apply changes twice fast.

Name à libitem à change fields à apply changes.

No clue….

Ta,

Onderwerp: [osflash] Alf new features

Hi all,

I'm working on a new minor release of alf

(http://www.osflash.org/alf). A part from adding some new features I'm

solving some bugs and misfunctionalities the first version had.

Here's a list of changes:

   - No more modal window. Now it can also works as a dockable panel.

   - New component filter. Not only compiled component will be filtered.

   - Added new refresh button (needed for dockable panel)

   - New select in library capabilities

   - Live preview in library.

   - Search performance improvement

   - updated help

Also I'm working on support for 2Byte Language (korean, chinese, etc).

But I have no idea on how to do it :S If someone could help me or

point to some resources/examples on this would be great!

Cheers

X.
