Thanks for the response Erixtekila. I have an idea of how to get it to
work now. I'm thinking that an open loop going in Java can work. It
will be terminated by a message sent to the socket server once all the
unit tests are done. It isn't as pretty as just letting Flash do it,
but obviously the Flash player for Mac is different and doesn't work
the same way as the Windows version.

I will let you guys know how it goes. Any other suggestions on how to
handle this problem are still appreciated.
