Yes, it is a Mozilla bug and not related specifically to 1 given method 
of getting data in and out of flash.  We see it both when loading 
external swfs and using XML sockets in certain cases (case not truly 
identified just known not to be reproduced 100% of the time).  At first 
I thought it might be an EOF error with our GD created jpgs, then saw 
others having issues just loading variables.  It is sad that this bug 
hasn't gotten a higher priority by Mozilla due to the frustration that 
are casued, thinking something si wrong with your loading 
mechanics...whatever they are.
