Yes, it's  a "Public Alpha ActionScript 3 Preview". Most alphas and betas of
commercial products time out. But incidentally, where did you see the 30 day
thing? I don't see it there.

As far as additional releases, it does say:

"The Flash Professional 9 ActionScript 3.0 Preview is the only planned
"preview release" of the next version of the Flash authoring tool before the
final version ships in 2007."

i think mainly it's an alpha. and i'd be happy that they implicitly say that
there'll be a next version within 30 days.

btw: it is kinda updating, since you need an existing f8pro installation
with a valid serial.

btw2:

is anyone else having difficulties running that app ? mine prompts for an
existing serial, and prompts and prompts and prompts and prompts and prompts
and prompts and prompts and prompts and prompts and prompts and prompts ...

i'd like to tell it my serial-number but it doesn't really seem to want it,
although it tells me :-)
