Of course, since swf is an open file format, it is very difficult/impossible to absolutely protect swf content.

You may be able to stop caching by configuring your web server to send
no cache headers with all swfs (I've not tried, don't know how). Note:
even if it worked it would only stop caching for most people: if someone
really wants a copy they will find a way to get one (*).

Anyway the usual method to stop swf files being useful offline is to
have them check the local IP address when they start up, and if it
doesn't match your server then refuse to run.

*: At first I thought the Flash 9 binary socket idea would work, but it
could be got around with a network packet sniffer (though it'd be hard
work, especially if the swf was sent encrypted).
