Just settep up my new enviroment with Flex2 Plug-in trial. Being able to have both my flex2 app project and my Cake project on the same eclipse ide (with PHPEclipse) feels so good I will do some tests with passing VO´s from server->flex and share my experiences, however I don´t think it would be so hard to make Flex2 and Cake talk with VO´s... btw, the flex framework is awesome!!

Rest assured.. and you too! Btw, Patrick Mineault already stated that he plans to add AMF3 support on AMFPHP´s next version! :)

definitely..its something i want to look at when i get some time..

hopefully an AMF3 php gateway will be around soon as well.

What Aral mentioned before which would be really good is to be able to scaffold
a flex app as easily as possible straight from cake, i doubt it would be as easy
as the html, but its definitely achievable. bake for flex. :)

i've checked in the latest code for client side type mapping, its in the
cakeforge svn with a little demo (you have to grab it from SVN i've not packaged
anything yet) :

anyway keep us posted on anything you find out or just want to talk about.
