Hey Man, back to this topic again. ;-) One of my coworkers just gave me a hint about how to possibly accomplish this I'm going to try some stuff today and let you know how it goes. Basically the plan is to simply use open nameOfFile.swf. The OS should be able to know that the SWF should be opened by Flash Player due to the SWF extension. I will let you know how it goes. And so I don't totally steal this thread... I totally recommend using Eclipse with FDT. You get all the features that Flash develop has plus a few more, like simple refactoring and automatic importing. Plus integration with SVN, CVS, Perforce or VSS are all readily available through Eclipse plugins. Other editors like Oxygen for XML editing are really great too, and work seamlessly within the Eclipse environment. It doesn't do AS3 though. Hopefully those powerflasher guys come out with a release that does soon. Another reason to choose Eclipse is that Flex Builder is built on it, and you will already have a head start on using Eclipse if you ever need to do some Flex programming. -Chris _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
