I wrote a simple AS2 component to parse and utilize the RSS.php that came with Gallery in order to display. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the different gallery names as a list from that, with links to the individual galleries. I bastardized the RSS.php and added a call to get this data so I could display a simple list with nice linking. I did this about a year ago and nobody seemed to respond on the Gallery forums. If anyone would like this code I am happy to pass it on before it ends up in the codeland in the sky. I love Gallery and would be willing to play around with some further ideas maybe as well.
