I bought a MacBook at the start of the summer, and I'm loving it. Coding can be a touch strange because of the key combos, but I got used to it.
The computer is very fast, and satisfying to use (but I'm sure you'd find the same in the Dell). The bundled software is a lot of fun too. I've been writing songs with my friends on the long car rides to and from Montreal, and Photo Booth is too funny with a bunch of people. And the overheating problems were reduced significantly by a patch that came out a few weeks ago. It changed the fan behaviour. I can work with it on my lap now. I don't think I'll ever go back to a PC to be honest. Every time I go back to windows I feel a bit dirty...and don't get me wrong. I've spent a long time in Windows, and I still use it for some development tasks. It just feels really great to use a system where it feels like a ton of thought was put into every detail. So my vote is on the MacBook. I personally have my eye on the Mac Pro now. ;) Scott On 03/09/06, John Grden <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ME!
