Hi João,

few months ago I already ported an old spring/hibernate(mysql)/acegi
application to red5.
It needs some cleanup, comments and needs to be upgraded to latest red5 version
(don't know if API has changed lately).
Problem is however that I am *really, really* busy at the moment, for at least
2 more weeks,
so in the meantime I'll not have time to do anything on red5.
For the time beeing, I am trying to follow red5(dev) mailing list as much as
possible,
so if you have problems I'll try to help,
-m

Subject: [osflash] Spring+Hybernate+Red5

Hello,

For my current project, i am willing to change the current server-side
technologies (mySQL+php+AMFPHP) for JAVA+Spring+Hybernate+Red5. I am thinking
on using the next one/two days researching and refactoring my server-side code
to use this technologies. I know almost nothing about them (except Java).
Marcelo Moraes wants to build a chat system. And for sure there is a lot of
people willing to use these combined technologies for their project.
So, what if we join to develop the server side code with this technologies for
a generic application to act as an example for we all, and to expose on the
osflash website maybe with a tutorial? Are *you* interested? Marcelo, are you
on the same boat? Chris, could you give us a little help before going to
honeymoon? :) All together, we could help each other... :)

João Saleiro
