I wonder if projects are subject to screening -- what would Adobe do 
when a project like Red5 comes along. Don't think the legal department 
would be very happy if they are seen as supporting development of 
something they might want to challenge as an infringement of their IP 
later on.

Really like to see them going in this direction but they might as well 
sponsor an independent group, a commercial company like Adobe running on 
open source community seems a bit odd if you ask me.

At the very least this will get more people involved with open source 
RIA development which is of course not a bad thing for the community as 
a whole.
