Hi Martin, Have a look at: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/fplayer8_security_04.html Halfway down the page look for: FlashPlayerTrust configuration files
Unfortunatly, there's no description for linux. But doing a search for the "FlashAuthor.cfg" file or "#Security" directory on your system will probably get you going. On Windows, I found trust files here: C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust In there are simple text files (some_name.cfg) containing paths to directories containing trusted swf's. For example: flexbuilder.cfg C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\My Documents\Flex Builder 2 P:\7beaufort\admin P:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\blogVO_test P:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\security_test P:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\vision_cms P:\books\bin P:\eq2\hq_tracker P:\flashreports P:\flex2\amf0 P:\flex2\remoting_test P:\invoices\bin P:\pylos\cms P:\sponge\admin hth, Muzak ----- Original Message ----- From: "Martin Wood-Mitrovski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Open Source Flash Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 26, 2007 11:45 AM Subject: [osflash] Help! adobe's online flash player settings panel is awol >I know this is OT, but does anyone know how to get the security settings panel? > > The adobe website is broken and redirects to this macromedia page > > http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html > > which is no use. > > I cant work if my swf cant access the local machine. > > So do I *have* to use the online settings panel to allow my swf access to my > local machine? or can i configure it locally? > > btw, this is on linux. :) > > > thanks, > > Martin > > > > _______________________________________________ > osflash mailing list > [email protected] > http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org > _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
