Maybe generalising a bit to much, but isn't (Open Source) Social
Networks what most people are building on this list, one way or the
other.. Juicy Fruit... a packet full of sunshine ... because you are worth it... marketing without asking any questions... Go Ijahman you can do it. Rostislav Siryk wrote: Iman, I'm afraid there's no one who supposed to take part in this project at the moment. Why? Two points: 1. There are a lot of Social Networks in teh field. And the crowds to come in. So, your offer sounds not pretty attracting. 2. Your offer sounds not pretty attracting. It seems like you hardly imagined the Big Idea of teh project. Or you hardly explained it. To attract attention, consider putting a valuable initial efforts in this points: - Dice a cool name for the project of such kind. For example, "Ultrasocial network", "MetaVideo Service", "Desocial network", Please note the following terms are exist already (I haven't checked whether they used as service names or not): "Metasocial network", "Antisocial Network" etc. - Create clear concept/aim of the project and write in down. For example, "become a metaservice over the Google Video and YouTube by creation a public extendable componets for embedding the video in any device". - Motivate people in any other way to get the attention. Otherwise this idea may become just dugged. I guess there's no one who can make this initial tasks better. Good working name and clear concept. Bot must be attractive. -- Rost http://flash-ripper.com/en/Here is the project: http://code.google.com/p/scsocnet/ My idea was to create a pretty bare bones themeless code base that people could download, customize and extend using the API. If you are interesed please email me and i will add you to the list.
