Hello :)

the NetConnection class isn't a mx class and no EULA in this class and
objects...

The NetConnection class and all native class of the flashplayer are free.

The next version of the FlexSDK will be opensource but now you can create
opensource project with native class of the FlashPlayer... no problemo with
Adobe in this point

EKA+ :)

Hi all (and in particular Eka)

I've been exploring Vegas and it looks fantastic. Just one question
though (for now)....

I'm not sure how the ASGard NetServerConnection class is an alternative
to NetConnection as it extends NetConnection. Please excuse me if this
seems like a stupid question, but i've been led to believe that if i'm
using a purely open source develpment environment (i.e. no Flash IDE,
compile and code with FlashDevelop) that the Flash license prohibits me
from using any of the classes in the mx package. If NetServerConnection
extends NetConnection, surely this means that it's tied to the mx
package? Am i missing the point, or have i been misinformed.

Thanks.
Jim
