Hello-
I am currently configuring the following:
RHE4
Apache2.2.6
PHP5.2.4
MySQL4.1
JRE1.5
ANT1.7
Red5 0.63
My issue completely revolves around my absolute need to open Port 1935. I have
a piece of software that utilizes Port 1935 via Red5.
When I build Red5 it completed and started-up but it DID NOT activate or bind
port 1935. So I hard set the paramaters and rebuilt. Still no 1935.
I run nmap -p 1935 0.0.0.0 and it responds
1935 closed unknown.
So I researched and spent 3 to 4 days getting to understand port 1935. I have
now open it manaually through RHE4 and restarted bind. The port now reads open
/ unknown.
But when I go to rebuild red5 it freezes in the middle of the build. It says
port is already assigned, but it doesn't fail it just freezes.
So now I am completely confused???????
Any help would be appreciated.
I know through persistence...success will be achieved :)
