As to the what I assume to be a security issue, couple questions:
1. Why does my swf running in the regular Adobe Flash Player that requests additional swfs from a remote server never receive responses, even if I adjust the security settings so that it can make requests to outside servers (cross-domain issue, I assume, but please confirm)? (Note, rendering the swf from inside the Flash IDE does properly get responses - wtf?) 2. What does a browser do that a regular player does not such that playing swfs which request additional data within a browser do receive responses to requests from a server? (Is this a cookie or other header related issue - if so can someone explain or point me to a resource?)
