Hi everybody, I'm a new red5 user. Above all, congratulations for the job done, red5 is wonderful!
I downloaded the latest verison, i tried the publisher demo, and I found that there is a noticiable latency on both video and audio streaming. It couldn't be the network connection, because we were tryng a quite fast LAN. I found a thread about latency in mailing list archive, but wasn't able to understand If the problem was solved. Is there any way to low down the latency? My company is evaluating to develop an open source audio conferencing tool for educational purposes, and I'm pushing to build it upon red5. I've done tests on Windows XP, P4 2GB RAM, and on MacBook Intel core duo, Leopard, 1 gb ram. Delay is the same. Thanks
