Hi,

what people think when they see such post here
http://www.communitymx.com/blog/index.cfm?newsid=900

?

I mean, I do work on few very small OSS projects,
don't ask for anything, but when I see such phrase

"So, for those open source author's – put up and shut up or write
commercial software,
but don't think using guilt, pity or such to garner donations is in
the spirit of the open source philosophy."

I feel very angry toward this kind of attitude

what's your take on that ?

I mean, com'on people coding OSS projects should be free to put
a donation link or not, I never saw anything in the open source philosophy
that would prevent the authors to make money (as little it is) out of it.
