Agreed, this is a unique time where embedded and mobile is almost requiring native knowledge (C/C++/Obj-C) as it is like developing on late 90's computers. So take this opportunity and learn C/C++ or Objective-C. If you don't want to invest time in Objective-C then you can still code C++ on the iphone with one objective-c stub class. Take a look at oolong engine for iphone that shows this pretty well. Some people don't think learning Objective-C is worth it because it is so limited to Mac only but if you think that way then try out C++ as you can use that in many places for game development now and for probably a decade or two to come, especially in embedded/mobile devices. -- Ryan Christensen software engineer, game developer and interactive web strategist drawk.com | drawlabs.com | drawcode.com | drawlogic.com [email protected] | +1.480.612.4957
