Hi Roland, I've merged your changes, but then needn't to get the plugin compiling so I downloaded the collada-dom 2.2 available from sourceforge and have got it compiled and installed, I get errors about not finding libminizip, so I manually installed this from the collada-dom, but then I get the error:
DynamicLibrary::getLibraryHandle( /home/robert/OpenSceneGraph/lib/osgPlugins-2.7.8/osgdb_dae.so) - dlopen(): /usr/local/lib/libcollada14dom.so: undefined symbol: _ZN5boost10filesystem6detail15not_found_errorE Which suggests to me that boost is not linked in correctly by the collada-dom. Is any of this familiar to you? Everytime I pull down Collada and try to compile it I get issues like this, the issues change from version to version but it never goes completely smoothly. Kinda feels like they kick a release out the door without actually testing it properly. Argggjg....
