Hi robert, AFAIK dxf doesn't store normals, the normal for a surface is determined from the order of vertices in a face.
I wanted the node visitor to detect how each node was rendered and output the appropriate dxf type (point/line/face etc) but couldn't work out how to get this from the stateset - this is something I would like to get working.
