HI Sukender, I'm just reviewing your changes and mostly understand what the idea behind them is, but the templated methods make me a little nervous about some of the less capable compilers being able to handle the code. I recall problems under Solaris/SunOS in the past due to some oddities in the compiler/STL implementation about templated methods. I don't know if this issue has gone way or not - I don't have any system to test against.
Reviewing this submission also makes me wonder if there might be a better route to solving the issue of handling Vec3 and Vec3d vertex arrays. What is the current usage model you have in mind that you wish to solve? If we can come up with a couple of clear usage/tests for the functionality then we will in a better place to decide how to tackle it. Off the top of my head I'm wondering about osgUtil::LineSegmentIntersector and making it support Vec3dArray's. Is this the type of problem you hand in mind? Robert.
