Attached is the requested change.
Looks better now.

Even if it is still sad that solaris CC will probably survive and still does 
not have complete stl/stdc++ support with the default libraries.

With these patches applied it again compiles on solaris 10 with sun studio 12 
and hpux using aCC. Where hpux is really unproblematic - if it was not, I 
would not do much to support an already dead platform.
