All, I've made improvements on the OSG 2.8 branch that improve the model conversion process. First, I fixed a minor typo in the help for osgconv. Second, I've made changes to the texture exporter in the .osg plugin so that it creates a new directory for exported textures and uses relative paths to these textures in the produced OSG file when the existing option "OutputTextureFiles" is specified.
I have forked the Github mirror of the OSG subversion repository, and made the changes based on the latest 2.8 branch.
