BTW, what > compiler picked out this warning? > gcc version 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5658) (LLVM build 2336.11.00), but I also realize that I compile osgGeo with -Wextra -Wunused-label -Wunused-value -Wunused-variable, as we use them for all of our product-builds in house. I realize that if you compile osg with these settings, I get thousands of warnings as there are many places where a function has an empty implementation, but named arguments. It is quite much work to turn the warning on and clean it up (we have been doing so over the last 6 month internally). The reason I saw this one was that it happened to be included by our code (compiled with the flags above). I'll let you know if I find something else. - K -- Kristofer Tingdahl, Ph. D.
